Welcome to Care4My.Pet. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Care4My.Pet is operated in the United Kingdom. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Our Service

Care4My.Pet is a platform that connects pet owners with licensed pet hotels, daycare facilities, and grooming services. We facilitate bookings and payments but are not the provider of pet care services.

The actual pet care services are provided by independent pet hotels ("Service Providers") who are solely responsible for the quality and safety of their services.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Bookings and Payments

4.1 Making Bookings

When you submit a booking request, you are making an offer to the Service Provider. The booking is confirmed only when the Service Provider accepts your request and payment is processed.

4.2 Payments

Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. By making a booking, you authorise us to charge your payment method for the total booking amount.

4.3 Cancellations

Cancellation policies vary by Service Provider. Please review the specific cancellation policy for each booking before confirming. Refunds are subject to the applicable cancellation policy.

5. Pet Owner Responsibilities

As a pet owner using our Platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your pets, including health conditions and behavioural issues
  • Ensure your pets are up to date with vaccinations as required by the Service Provider
  • Provide accurate emergency contact information
  • Arrive on time for check-in and check-out
  • Pay for any additional services or damages as agreed with the Service Provider
  • Comply with the rules and policies of each Service Provider

6. Service Provider Standards

Service Providers on our Platform are required to hold appropriate licences (such as an Animal Activity Licence in England) and maintain adequate insurance. However, we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any Service Provider's services.

We encourage you to review Service Provider profiles, ratings, and reviews before making a booking.

7. Reviews and Ratings

After a completed booking, you may leave a review. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on your actual experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that:

  • Contain false or misleading information
  • Include offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content
  • Violate the privacy of others
  • Are not related to the booking experience

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for the actions, omissions, or negligence of Service Providers
  • We do not guarantee the availability, quality, or safety of any services
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant booking

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Care4My.Pet and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

By posting content on our Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our services.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

11. Disputes

If you have a dispute with a Service Provider, we encourage you to first attempt to resolve it directly. You may also contact our support team for assistance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer resident in another part of the UK, in which case you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
